Hey so I was able to upgrade early and I get my phone at the latest on Wednesday. I'm very excited. I'm coming from a droid incredible and the small screen is getting to me heh.

So I'm looking for accessories; car dock, extended battery, and the best screen protector is a must. I get 25% off at Verizon accessories because of where I work. The battery is 38 dollars on verizon. I haven't found the other two I like on Verizon. I can't seem to find what I want on Amazon.

Does anyone have any recommendations?
 
I have to disagree about the otterbox. I bought the VZW shell/holster case and I think it does a better job protecting the phone because the screen is completely protected by the holster. The case is very much like the Seidio Active, but half the size and weight. I had the Seidio on my TB and I like the VZW version much better. Plus, the shell part has a built in kickstand which is great for watching movies
 
Hmm I just read a review that says the case doesn't fit well if you have the extended battery.

I have two extended batteries on the way for my and my brother's two SGN's. I also have a verizon piece-of-plastic car dock, and a samsung 3 pin car dock on the way.

I am anxious to see whether they fit the extended battery. I get the verizon car dock tomorrow, the 3pin car dock in a week.

I will post when I get the items.

everyone is entitled to their own opinion, however, in case you did not know, the otterbox comes with a holster, in addition to a built in screen protector. you can put it in the holster screen first and then it completely covers it. also, the holster has a built in kickstand. just take the clip and open it all the way, as if for a thick belt, and it will snap in place and stay open and double as a kickstand.

wanted to add that the otterbox with its built in plastic screen protector also protects the screen without the need to use the holster...with the combo, there is no protection of the screen without the holster. just nice to have the option with the otterbox.

i was constantly watching the release thread and people mentioned fommy.com. I bought from there. They were at least delayed a few days with shipping. Not expecting it until the 25th, maybe 27th.

Did they have the other one in stock, because the one they have, now, has pictures that seem to lead you into thinking it might be the three-pin model, but the samsung model number they list is the wrong one.

compare for yourself, the samsung site shows no USB or Audio ports on the base:

The model number you want is ECS-K1F2BEGSTD, according to what I've read.

It fits. I have them both. The difference in size between the two batteries is so small it doesn't seem to affect anything. The extended battery even works in the spare charger doc.
