Root Recovering numbers [Root]

[Mjcanton]

I rooted with Cyanogenmod 7.0 this weekend and forgot to back up my verizon numbers that are backed up through verizon sync. All i have now is numbers that I backed up with google in the past year, so everything before that is gone.

Is there any way to get them back online or something? Obviously the Verizon sync program is no longer on the phone.

Nandroid back to your previous rom, go to the people app, hit menu, hit export to sd card, let it export, then hit import from sd card and it will ask you to save them to google. Then you can freely go to any rom without having to worry about them.

Could I also go back using Rom manager? would that be the same thing?? I think I can go back to my stock rom that way.

Did you make a backup(nandroid) of your original ROM? That will be the only way you can recover those numbers.

^^That's the way to go. Also, I would strongly recommend getting Titanium Backup if you haven't already. Must have root app if you're going to be flashing Roms.
