Recovery Images.

Which recovery image is everyone using these days? Amon RA's recovery or ClockworkMod recovery?

I heard somewhere that Amon RA's was less buggy or just more compatible some how. I did not really understand that reasoning, but it is what I heard regardless. What is the latest version of both recovery images for the Sprint HTC Hero? If you have any personal insight regarding either of these recovery images, I would love to hear it.

Using CM, no troubles here with v2.5.0.1. Been using since July and flashed pretty much every rom without trouble

CyanogenMod has his own recovery image? Weird, I thought there was only Amon RA's recovery and ClockworkMod recovery.

Is the CyanogenMod recovery based on either of the two I mentioned above? Did you flash it the old fashioned way using the Android SDK or some other method?

Sorry, ClockworkMod(CM)
 
I'm using Amon RA's 1.6.2. That is what I started with when I rooted v1.5. I do not flash a lot of ROMs but it has never failed. I am currently running CM6.1-RC1.
