Root [RECOVERY] LTE2 Recovery App now with Touch.

Ok flashable pack is a no go. Restoring backup at the moment.

Darn I want this bad. Don't know what to do. You guys that it's working for are lucky. lol

The recovery worked fine for me but PG they might going through what we were going through at first on the esteem with the clockworkmod boot loop but somebody fix the problem. Just a guest

I doubt thats it and that was jcase and me. ;)

Installed and ran it. Made a Backup and rebooted.

So far so good. Much much obliged PG. Who knew this phone would receive so much attention. :)

Edit: Got stuck rebooting but now I am free thanks to GT's advice. :)

PG

lol I just found your Black Plague wallpaper on google. I'm thinking of doing a theme based on it. The red glowing eyes would look sick in the system menus. :D

I got stuck in a boot loop so I reflashed katana after formating /system. After it restarted I installed this recovery and it works with out any problems. Maybe if you install this one with out having already installed the other recovery it will work fine

I did that before I installed it the first time and still got the loop. I don't know how to uninstall the recovery info that 2nd init installs itself

After uninstalling LTE2, should I install new touch apk to /system/app or as a regular app

installed to system/app I've not had the getting stuck in cwm issue. But can be install normally too.

I also managed to get booted to cwm with stock installed. lol

Thanks PG, is there a button combo to get into cwm from power off. I tried the one mentioned before but it said toggle vol+/vol- but that never worked for me. Couldn't understand which one to press first or how many times

I think they that button combo only work with cm installed but I'm not 100%sure
hold power, when LG logo appears release power and toggle vol-+ repeatedly.

Doing it with the stock ROM is hit or miss.

This is what PG told me in the other thread that he does to get into the lte2 recovery....

"From power off, hold power n vol+ til the lg logo appears, let off power n toggle vol-+."

edit: PG just ninja'd me lol

So... has anyone tried holding Volume Up and Power at boot? Seems to be a real recovery now, so no more Unbrick... right?

Anybody else having a problem where there is no yes button on the wipe data/factory reset....ill just go the format way for now but it feels pretty weird
