Root Recovery + No Volume Buttons = Bad Juju

Soooo due to a horrific accident, I'm no longer in possession of my phones volume buttons. How would one go about navigating through recovery without these?

The smelkus mod recovery is what you want. You navigate with capacitive buttons with it.
On phone, can't search or link. Think it is in ocn's root sticky though.
I'm not sure how to get it on phone with out the volume buttons though. Hang tight. See if one of the other guys can help you the rest of the way. :)
 
Is the phone's OS still intact? Can you turn it on and get to a home screen and Play Store and download an app?

Gotcha:) But when he does get to his recovery, he has no way of navigating within it. Somehow, we need to get smelkus installed....that is a touch screen recovery as dust said but......
.. how long does he put up with the volume buttons not working ya know?
Does he want to go thru the trouble of getting a different recovery with no volume buttons working? :)

Well, on the lte, goo manager will put a new recovery on for you automatically.
Wondered if adb could put it on for him?
Or, shudder, rom manager app we never use? :-)

Ya the buttons fell out and are gone so i have no way of actually using recovery. I'll do whatever it is i need to do to get smelkus lol
