Well right now I'm running Froyo vs 34 I believe and am trying to flash an xtrarom. when I go to boot into recovery I can't do anything. I try to use the volume buttons to do a full wipe but the only thing I can do is to select Reboot system now.

Please Help! Thanks!

Okay guys I just fully wiped my phone and rooted again with a froyo rom. I still want rto flash to a different rom but I can't do anything in the recovery menu. I can't use my volume button or my trackball. The only thing I can do is select the reboot now option. Any help would be great!

Jon,

You are not alone... Take a look at these threads (no easy answer, but some alternatives):

Hope this helps.

plug it into the usb cord, jiggle it a little, then it should work (do this while your in recovery)
