Root Recovery Question

In the 'All Things Root Guide', there are about 6 recoveries.
I'm using the CWM-based Recovery v4.0.1.5
I'd like to know if any of those recoveries in the guide are better than the one I am currently using. Thanks! :)
 
What sceen version do you have? It also depends on the type of ROM.
Have you tried the touch screen recovery yet?

I tried to put enough of an explanation with each recovery so once you figure out your screen version you will know which is best for what.
The Xionia recovery in zip form is good to put on the sd card in case you get into a recovery loop. Look in the two link that have more recovery's. the 1.2518.4 version works best on the Novatek screen's.
 
CWMT works fine on the Novatek screens as well. I recently migrated to it from BigSuperSquid's Multirom recovery, and I quite like it. The touch controls make navigating much faster.
 
I have it as well. You can use either touch screen or hard keys.
I'm still not sure if it's doing a good enough job wiping or I'm having problems with the BACKside update. I will need to try a few things first before posting findings.
Must be really nice to have a perfect processor, brotherswing.
 
With the Novatek screen you can flash all ROM's and recovery's for the V. With the Hitachi screen you have a limited # you can flash.
