Root Recovery that doesn't use Touchscreen?

My touchscreen stopped working and I've already got a replacement phone. Was wondering if there was a cwm recovery that doesn't use the touchscreen for the triumph so i can put my phone back to stock before returning it. The power button and volume buttons work but thats it.

well im not 100% certain since our triumphs dont have to many versions of CWM recovery that work, but ive seen in different places, one where i believe the power button was select

you best bet would probly be asking mantera

hes got a thread for CWM recovery for the triumph

yeah.. most recoverys are NON touchscreen. there is only a experimental beta recovery that uses the touchscreen and i dont know anyone who uses it.

i think, well i took a guess lol when he's saying his touchscreen isnt working he's speaking on the bottom soft keys, but im not sure

ive personally only used CWM 5.0.2.6 and the new 5.5.0.4 and both require the soft keys to select the choices

Yeah i was talkin about the softkeys. On the triumph they are part of the touchscreen. I can only move up and down. If there was one where the power button was select that would be perfect.

since mantera has the thread for all working triumph CWM recoveries id again probly start there, the link i posted was right to his thread, you can also try sending him a message

he would possibly know which one, and again im not 100% sure

EDIT: Speak of the devil lol, i tell you to ask him cause he'll probly know, and here he is to save the day lol, i had only heard of one that used the power but somehow i knew you would know mantera lol

You can use the tjstyle version that was generic for the x6 variants. It was the original one that we started using in July before Isaac put out his version specific to the MT.

CWM 4.0.0.9 (thanks to tjstyle)

Power button is select on this one, iirc.

Four months ago I sent my broken phone in with CM7, CWM, and a custom PRL. Didn't have a problem.

.... And it seems like Isaac's first one used the power button also. Think I still have a copy on my laptop. Can't remember the version number.
