Actually no there Is no mesh grill on the speaker hole. Looking at the original picture in the first post there doesn't seem to be a grill.

One thing I noticed is it doesn't creak at the bottom with the 1500 battery like the black backing did

Mine is identical to the one pictured in this post. Andy the Android, "HTC" (in chrome) INCREDIBLE WITH HTC SENSE" text, red speaker grille, metal headphone port surround.

I originally looked at the site a few days before I decided to order it (I placed my order on July 9th). In that time frame the item went from being supplied with the silver lens ring and black housing with red rockers for $25 to the back cover only for $20. I saw the writing on the wall at that point and immediately ordered one. I think that these might have been a small test run for what might have been. In the end HTC decided on the black back cover that we have today.
 
If anyone wants to sell me their red cover and red buttons/port trimmings, I'll give you $40. Must come with buttons and mesh over speaker hole.

If you're willing to part with just the red buttons/trimmings, I'll give you $10.
 
I got mine today. The hole for the speaker is in the same as the original black cover. The "HTC" is exactly like the original black cover also. It is red and has the android character on it. It also says "Incredible with HTC Sense". There is no silver bezel for the earphone jack.

Overall I am pleased.
 
If anybody is lucky enough to still have either the entire red case or at least the buttons and red mesh i'll gladly pay for them. Just send a pm with a price.
 
I'm looking for replacement parts for the aluminum ring/lens, as well as the red case. The parts are more important though! Has anyone seen anywhere else that these can be purchased? I have seen a few dummy phones on ebay that have the rings and the red door, but I am nervous to buy one because I am not sure if I would be able to remove the red door without damaging it. Any info would be appreciated!

I just wanted to comment on the Red Dummy phones. I ordered one a while ago and true to the description, it's just a mock up of an incredible. The "door" is a piece of plastic that's solidly connected to the front. When I tried prying it apart I found out that the inside is hollow except for some plastic holding the display device together. There was also a tiny (probably cardboard) square to provide weight and hold the screen printout in place under the glass. Anyway, aside from a fake metal port and one clicky optical button, it's a display/collector's piece only. Save your money and order one of the red or white doors from Verizon.

I ordered mine at a Verizon kiosk at a local mall. Some people have had luck calling 611 and ordering it via the part number (VZW6300DORW), but I had no luck with that. They all kept telling me they couldn't find it in the system.

Someone else posted pics of theirs, and this is what it looks like. Pretty sexy, I think :p

I had no problems with *611 ordering my white... I had to get a refurb.. first time the lady sucked so i hung up and tried again, got the refurb, and she found the white back door, I asked for a discount she gave me factory 35% off. came to $20.05 shipped. dank ass deal. sexy as a mofo! love it.
 
From the link in the first post of this thread. There's more to it than just the grille though. Check out this post from page 2. Good luck finding one though. They have been long gone for a while now and I'm not selling mine, sorry.

Just got mine in the mail today. I love the way it looks.

However, I'm having the same problem that I am having with the 2150 battery door. The right side of the phone (when facing it) doesn't seem to be firmly attached. I mean it doesn't feel like it's going to come off really, it just feels odd when I put pressure on it. It feels like that side isn't as solid as the rest, and makes a little noise when I touch it.

The factory battery door is the only one that hasn't given me this problem.
 
gonna go check out about the white door, phone fell and landed on the same corner twice within this month, chipped corner looks nasty :/
