RedLaser and GasBuddy

Weird apparently I can't download these. I've tried several methods to acquire these apps.

If anyone can provide the latest APK for RedLaser and or GasBuddy I would appreciate it.

NOTE: Both these apps are FREE on the market.

These apps have been KNOWN to work on the prevail. Boost in all their infinite wisdom is blocking these apps for some reason.

yes boost is blocking them and I believe in the case of gas buddy it is because the phone came with some gas checking app, dont remember what as I dont want it. Red laser I dont know why, though I did find qr droid also blocked.

hey got redlaser too, and I think it might be what I will use as well, I was using pic2shop, but it does not have qr scanner and with the limited internal memory on this phone combined apps make more sense then having barcode scanner and one qr scanner.

Thanks for this too Optimus .. i was just looking for it .. I do have QR droid installed but wanted to try redlaser out too
 
i dont think boost is blocking the apps. i think the developers of the apps need to update which phones are compatible. like recently paypal wasnt available but now it is. there is another banking app i am waiting for. i mean, why would boost block it? it would mean faster payment if it was available right? recently, i've seen gasbuddy apps for specific gas stations become available. this phone is fairly new...
i dunno just my 2 cents
 
I've been using GasBuddy for a few weeks now on my Prevail and haven't had any issues. What does RedLaser do though?

Thanks! I've been looking for something that works for regular bar codes after figuring out it didn't work on Barcode Scanner. I'm gonna add to my list of noteworthy apps!
 
Just making sure, we can't install Redlaser from the market so we have to download the apk correct? I went to the market and tried to install it but it said it wasn't compatible with the phone.
 
Redlaser works on the Prevail. Much better than pic2shop. I use GasBuddy every day at work. Both are great programs. Thanks so much!
 
RedLaser is the only App that I've found that works best with the Prevail's camera. Almost all (minus Pic2Shop) of the Barcode Scanners out there require a auto-focus or extremely high megapixel camera to work well.

Honestly, RedLaser is a great app and it shows prices really well.

If you use RedLaser a word of warning, "TURN OFF THE GPS LOCATION IN THE SETTINGS". Good almighty does that feature of RedLaser eat up the battery like no tomorrow.

I believe you meant Auto-focus here.
