Ok folks need some help. I have a photo I am trying to add to my Evo as a background/wallpaper. I have read you have to reduce the pic to fit 900x400. When doing that and trying to add it, it is zooming in and you cant see the entire pic. I have reduced it to 287x480. Now when I try set it and the little green box opens....it is only fitting half of the pic in the box. Can someone please point me in the right direction as to how I can simply take any photo of any size and set it as my wallpaper and it look that same as viewed in the gallery?

Thanks in advance for the help!

480 x 800 is the size you're looking for... (960 x 800 for scrolling wallpaper)... that should do the trick.... you may want to use a pic editor to resize the pic you want, i use acdsee, alot more options than just using the phone's editor for wallpaper... IMO...

some wall paper programs such as Multipicture also give you the option to scroll wallpaper or not. Also Multipicture allows you to have a different pic for each screen. Its a Live wallpaper and not an app
