Help refurbished phone, "download unsuccessful" and cant detect sd card

i got a new refurbished htc evo from sprint, and now my phone cant download, it says that download is unsuccessful, the download says starting, but never actually starts the downloading. my sd card isnt detected, its the old card from my old evo, so it should work.

ummm have you tried downloading the app again or multiple times??? Also i would go into sprint and tell them of your sd card problem because if it worked with your old evo and its not working with the new one then something is obviously wrong with the phone.

As for the market....it was having issues and those should be resolved now. On the sd card.....did yo back up everything...format it through phone...thenvtransfer everything back on to it?
