Help reinstall google talk

My husband rooted my Samsung Fascinate and uninstalled my Google talk. Now when I try to download an app from the market it just hangs. How can I re-install google talk?

I am a novice with this phone so the less technical the better.:)

Find out from your husband if he also installed clockwork recovery. If so you can get google talk back by downloading rom manager from the market. From there you would go to sonofskywalker and in there you can get stock apps which includes google talk.

downloading anything from the market is tough, when market downloads are borked by screwing with google apps :o

since im nice i put all the 3 components to talk that may have been deleted in my dropbox....ill pm you the links as even though gapps are included free with your phone...its murky on publicly posting them :)
 
I need help re installing google talk onto my htc hero. I deleted the app because i never used it but didnt realise u needed it to download apps. Can someone please help? I have tried everything.

Can you also forward that link to me. I rooted my phone and also deleted the Talk. I tried doing a hard reset and that just deleted all the apps I already had. Now I cant get anything. Please forward me the link back so I can back into the 21st century please!!

Nitsuj17, I hate to be a pain but I am new to androids. I got an intercept and decided to get z4 temp root to delete bloatware. I also made the mistake of deleting google talk and did not back anything up. It did speed my phone up, until the google gapps message appears. Can you please email me the program as well? I am not brave enough to root my phone after this mistake, and I do not have a computer besides, so I hope it works from my phone! Thank you for your time! Ryder.jacob@ymail.com
 
I rooted my phone and deleted google talk. It wasn't letting me download any apps or anything so I did a factory reset. Now I have no apps at all, and I can't download any apps at all. I just don't know what to do and I am sad.:mad:
 
I am not responding in regards to fixing the problem, as I have never rooted a phone, but my wife has a Samsung Continuum, and if I did that to her phone, I know what she would be saying to me: "Fix it, $#%@ it!!!, and next time, leave your hands off..."

I rooted my phone yesterday and i deleted google talk and market wasn't working. downloading from your dropbox fixed it! thank you so much!
 
nitsuj17 i would be grateful if you could pm me those links. I also uninstalled gtalk, and I can't remember if i uninstalled anything else. I tried just to reinstall gtalkservice (as root) but it still gives me com.google.process.gapps error
I read some posts about flashing stock rom but I'm not a bit affraid that I could brick my phone.
Any suggestions are welcome :)
 
Hello, just to thanks SAPS and his useful link. Yesterday I deleted in haste (even if i'm a newbie on android, i didn't search enough on the web for problems I could meet) google talk from my x10 and now thanks to saps I can download from market again.

In fact, I uninstalled with titanium pro. After downloading saps google talk apk, it still didn't work. But it appeared back in titanium list, so I just had to restore datas I saved before uninstall and after a reboot all was ok.

So i rooted my phone deleted gtalk now id like to restore it to factory or get gtalk back because im hoping to do a upgrade to the os to the newer one that came out. could someone help me? i dowloaded the apk file posted on here for gtalk but its still not working after installing it i tried to open it and it shuts off imediately

Got the file but don't know where to save it on my phone to get Talk back.

Where should I save the gtalkservice.apk file?
