I ordered mine yesterday around Noon, and received mine today, if you are a SP customer you can order it now

I ended up doing a telesales order this morning so this is good news! I hope mine arrives tomorrow or Fri at the latest. I have had good results ordering either by phone or online before, usually receiving my phones the next day but I am kind of worried about this one because apparently the volume of orders has caused system problems. In fact, there was a system problem when I went online to attempt to order this morning, so I called telesales and they had a problem too. My order did finally go through and it is being processed at the warehouse now. I wish I hadn't taken so long debating about ordering by mail vs. getting it in-store even though I did a pre-order...meh... :p

Ordered mine at around 1am today, still no tracking info, all it says is allow 2-5 days for delivery...:(

On edit: Chat with CS revealed my order is in the final processing stages and should be going out today!:)

Keep us posted. I put my order in at 9AM CST this morning and I'm wondering if they are still managing one day turn arounds on shipping.

Hopefully they haven't run out of stock yet.

I hear you! I specifically asked if they still had some in stock when I phoned in my order and I was assured that they did. I hope that's the case.

Thanks that's what I was expecting. It would be crazy awesome if it came Saturday:D

Woke up to an activation email from Sprint and checked the UPS tracking number and it is out for delivery! I am very excited and impressed with how quickly the order was processed.

Are their any benefits from getting the 3d with one or the other? I have it pre ordered with both...

Is rebates better on one or the other or can one or the other wave activation fee ect...

I have never purchased a phone from Best Buy but I can tell you one advantage of getting the phone through Sprint is that you can have it added to your bill. At least they did mine, and I have read that others have done it as well. Also, at least for right now, there are no mail-in rebates, so if you are a new customer or qualify for a full upgrade you will only pay $199. No guarantees by any means, but if you order online or through telesales, most of the time you will receive your phone the next day. My experiences with dealing with Sprint (whether in-store or online) have been excellent.

I think the only way you can waive your activation fee is to order online or through telesales.

Other than that, there is no real advantage to either BB or Sprint store. Unless you're coming through another carrier. According to sprint.com/switchtosprint , the port in credit terms have been extended to 7/23

I have gotten phones from both and it is pretty much the same. I prefer ordering from Sprint Online (which I did this time as well) simply because I do not want anyone else being the first ones to touch my phone. Every time I have gotten one in Store, the rep takes the phone out and pulls off all the packaging and turns it on and it makes me die a little inside. (jk... kind of).

I got mine (well, getting mine) at Best Buy tomorrow since I had about $150 in gift cards and Reward Zone points already, and will absolutely NOT let this happen to my new 3D. I'll let them know up front that if they insist on activating it, I don't want the plastic protectors pulled off (I assume it has one on the screen and on the back, like every other phone I remember getting).

As it sounds like it is for you, it's a giant pet peeve of mine ever since I got my Touch Pro at Best Buy and the guy activating had the greasiest hands ever. I came home to put on a screen protector and it took forever and a day to get it cleaned off.

I read somewhere around here that at least one person managed to get Best Buy to simply add the ESN to their account, thereby "activating" it in their eyes and let them walk out with an unmolested phone, but that hasn't been my experience, and don't think I'm even going to attempt to explain this to their activation monkey.

I should add that if you go to the Sprint store and buy the phone there, you cannot leave without having it activated. That is one reason why I opted for telesales instead of following through with my pre-order. I am glad to know I'm not the only one who has a peeve about other people messing with my phone!

Is there any way u can get the phone, bring it home and activate at bb or sprint or do u gave to activate in store at both

After reading someone else's comment that you could not leave the Sprint store with an unactivated phone I called the location where I had my pre-order and posed that question. I was told that you could not leave the store with an unactivated phone. So, after reading how quickly others were getting their phones during this Premier Customer release, I went ahead and tried to order online. The system was slow and locked up my pc, so I called telesales. They were very helpful and got me an upgrade I wasn't expecting and got my order processed quickly. My device is now on a truck en route to my house...I am so antsy I can hardly sit still :D

So, today the Sprint store called me to inform me that the Evo 3D is being released tomorrow. I then asked them about the Port In Credit being extended to July 23rd according to the Sprint site. They had not heard of it being extended, but the manager confirmed to the rep (heard him in the background) that they match whatever the website says.

So those of you who are looking to get the Port In Credit just need to reference the online link.

I have it in my hot little (OK, huge) hands waiting for the battery to charge! Oh well, still have to back everything up on the Evo 4G.

One thing, it is a hair smaller width wise, not liking that, but I can live with it!

wow im kind of irritated...they called me to set up an appointment...on saturday.......when i preordered in the beginning of june they said there wasn't many people on the preorder list at the time...wtf....he did say i could come in tomorrow if i wanted though but they were expecting a ton of people....

Just got back from my Sprint store. They are sold out of the Evo 3D, at approximately 1pm local time.

So I asked when their next shipment comes in, and I got shrugs, lol.
