Hate to beat a dead horse here but I have never gotten overnight shipping no matter how early I order. Well I guess what I mean is I have never gotten it the next day, it always takes a minimum of 2 days. If ordered on a Tuesday it shows up on a Thursday. If ordered on a Friday it shows up on a Monday. When I check out I am only given one option for shipping which states 2-5 business days. I can't remember if it is called overnight shipping or not. Just an FYI that your mileage may vary.

No. No matter what time I order it is 2 days minimum. 2 business days. I can order at 8 am and it ships that day and I get it on the second business day. I have ordered well over 60 phones online (I have 20 business lines) and this is 100% for me. I would guess it is more to do with my location (New Orleans) than anything. Perhaps it is because I have a business account as well.
i ordered the novatel mifi 4g gadget thru srint.com and received it the next day. less than 24 hours after i placed the order in fact.
i had an evo on the account i admin replaced under warranty a few months back. took overnight shipping.. again less than 24 hours.
my touch pro 2 i ordered online.. got to me in less than 24 hours.. this was what, 3 years ago?

I am sure that is the majorities experience. It isn't mine so just giving out the FYI. You get to choose shipping methods? I only get one choice. Again could be a business account thing as well.

I live in Louisville too. It's weird how 3 Sprint reps told me though even if I pre order tomorrow phone still wont be released till the 24th. I wish I knew for sure.. But I have a preorder in already at one of the stores here.. Are you preordering? Let me know if you do get it the next day cause I usually get my phones the next day when I order through telesales.
in a few days , none of this will even matter.. we are closer now than we were back in march....
Agreed, I cannot wait to play with this phone. And my girlfriend is going out of town for the weekend on Friday. It will be a weekend of delivery food, no showers, and geeking out as this Geek will be free in his natural environment.
Oh I will be ready for her to come back Sunday... There are some things technology can't replace... Hahaha couldn't resist sorry.

Well here is a rundown of Sprint's shipping options that should satisfy everyone. It list overnight as 2-4 days which is what it is for me but they wouldn't put 1-2 days because what if it didn't get there in 1.

Actually after re reading it notice it says "All phone orders are shipped free of charge, which takes 2-5 business days to arrive due to processing. For accessory orders that do not contain a phone, you may select from the following shipping methods"

yourfriendmatt stated he should get his/hers tomorrow. he said it was shipping today. i doubt they would do a special ship case for the 5 individuals who won the phone?
but here is a question for you... what if many order on the 21 and get it on the 22? will that prove anything?
and im not trying to be disrespectful or rude to you. I know tone and intent arent conveyed properly in text form.. i assure you im not trying to be smart mouthed. Im just wondering why you are so set on stating no one will get the handset overnight...

I'm going to mosey over to RS on the 24th, preorder in hand, and hope for the best.
I might even get one on launch day trying this. I'm going to pay zero extra for shipping and not worry about the truck. I'm going to leave the store with a working phone, and not hope they don't bork the setup from the online order (that one in a million thing that I was the one in the million two phones ago).

Hmm I apologize if I was being unclear. Nowhere in any of my posts did I say no one will get it overnight. I said that I , me personally, have never gotten it overnight and that I have never been given the option to get it overnight. I even threw in that your mileage may vary.
I posted the shipping info because it supported everyone's thoughts on Overnight Delivery simply by existing. Meaning since it is called overnight, even though they list it as 2-4 days, 1 day is probably the norm in closer markets to warehouses, etc. But that I was in the 2-4 day bracket. I also said that I am sure getting it the next day was the norm for many, it is not for ME. I was mearly adding information that might stop the cries of "Y'all said it was overnight and it has been two days!". Now after reading that page closely it supports my experiences with ordering of 60 plus phones which is standard 2-5 business days. Not trying to be right or wrong here. Just doing what is in the best interest of the Forums which is to share my experiences and thoughts and information.
So to be clear the above is all MY EXPERIENCE and in no way am I saying no one will get the phone overnight. I hope everyone gets it over night honestly. I did not take it as disrespectful or rude and perhaps I just wasn't being clear. Hopefully you can see what I was saying.

Mine could very well be a special circumstance. She called and asked me if it was ok to require a signature, and said she was shipping it FedEx. I told her I didn't like FedEx, so she says "Ok, I'll take it to UPS." with the biggest smile you could imagine (through a phone lol). That being said, over on the SP forums, a lot of people that have been with Sprint over 10 years say that their phones rarely take longer than one day.
My roommate ordered an Evo 4G on a Friday and got it Wednesday, but he opted for the 2 - 5 day shipping. I've never ordered a phone through them online, so I can't help more than that. My heart tells me that Sprint would be awesome enough to overnight it, but then again the program is called First to BUY, not First to Get

UPS is the preferred carrier for Sprint.. at least in the area i live in. You will get it tomorrow for sure if they told you.
be sure and post up in the EVO 3D review thread when you have had time to play with it. between here and SP forums you are going to be busy... but not too bad to get a 500 dollar phone the world wants for free..
