Release Date?

The 6th is a Sunday, too. I was hoping for then simply because it lines up with the "early Feb" date we've been hearing pretty well. And because it's sooner.

No one ever said confirm we said this is what we are hearing. And passing on info to help. PS don't judge people you have no idea how we help.
 
Referencing my post about my friend working as a regional att sales manager, I asked them where they heard their info: they said it came from inside att distribution lines.

I agree with everyone, take this as a grain of salt, but it's a better indicator of a release date than some best buy guy. /shrug
 
Im very tempted to just go an get another android phone right now! Nothing else is really that great that I can use on ATT 3G though (imo), I guess I'll wait but man just announce the damn release date!!:mad:

I know... seriously an announcement for the phone AND full hands on at CES... not to mention the (possibly) controlled leaks throughout December... but no solid release date other than Q1?! You're killing me, AT&T.

Can you imagine if verizon had their huge iphone announcement, and at the end, before they ended the speech and left, they said "it will be out, um, in the next couple of months, somewhere around there."

no i cant imagine that because apple doesnt make dumb business moves. I mean the announce and tell you its coming this day, gear up and go get it. Meanwhile we are seeing this ATRIX teaser commercial everywhere and no clue on when its coming and it still has no AT&T branding

If this is true - then it seems like they would be puting out a pre-sale/pre-order date very soon. It seems likely for them to give a 1-2 week lead time on the pre-order date.

The wait is killing me.
 
The wait is killing me as well. But I guess it gives me more time to come up with the money for it since I will be buying it outright. :)

So youre going for the inspire?

Im still confused lol.

If I had all 3 in front of me and had to choose (Atrix, Inspire, Arc) I'd take the Arc hands down, but it seems like the Atrix and Inspire are coming soon and the Arc, who knows! And as Ive said before I need a new phone now, so im just not sure what to do! And if they DO come out on the 13th I think the temptation is gonna get the better of me and I'll go with the Atrix, not that thats a bad thing, but man I want that Arc...
 
Also everyone here I suggest waiting till after the 17th as MWC2011 is from the 14th-17th, who knows what will get announced there!

I defiantly wont be getting a Sony, it's the Atrix for me. Love the dock options.

I was leaning towards the Atrix but now I may take up a holding pattern. With AT&T's new upgrade policy, that puts a bit of a damper on things. The Arc doesn't seem too appealing. I think I will wait til MWC and Samsung may announce the Galaxy S2 there which may be a better phone and would likely come to AT&T. Otherwise, I may wait several months for an LTE phone.

Im almost positive the GS2 will be announced at MWC, I got a felling its gonna be a monster..
