Root [RELEASE]One Click Tool for Revo/Spectrum/Lucid

Now as far as CM9 and things the problem from what i hear is the kernel since it isnt open source but if i can get my brunch working on my ubuntu (been trying to compile CM9 for cricket for E4GT) then i should in theory be able to compile it for the Spectrum using the ICS kernel that is around and hope it boots the problem is tho lol whether or not it will boot off a stock kernel
theres no LG 3.0 kernel no, but the needed stuff can be backported into the kernel src available for the spectrum. Or if one is savvy enough with kernels maybe able to post in all the needed LG stuffs ;), but the stock kernel will work well enough to get it booting, touchscreen working etc, etc.

Oh and you may want to credit djrbliss for the exploits ;)

Just "driving by" and wanted to make a few quick comments:

- We very much appreciate the contributions of any and all here at AF. Its clear that the OP, dexslab, is willing and wanting to contribute not just here to the folks at AF, but to the Android community in general. Thank you, dexslab.

- Thanks to dexslab for taking the constructive (and sometimes not-so-constructive ;)) comments in-stride. dexslab has clearly taken the feedback to heart and has provided answers and posted his/her code, screenshots, etc. I know firsthand that doing things like this is a learning process and its clear that dexslab is making efforts to do the right things that gives everyone the measure of comfort that they are looking for.

- Thanks to the folks that have given the OP the benefit of the doubt and those that have given him a second chance. Its great to be cautious and question things when gaps are seen, but its also very admirable when you see patience, teaching, and cooperation going on--that's what distinguishes AF from many other sites.

I was actually a little worried when I started reading this thread but have actually come away pretty impressed.

Cheers to all!

-SA
