Root reminder please?

I want to go back to my stock GB and keep root. Should I just flash my last backup before I loaded Apex 2.0 RC2? Or, do I need to do something else? I feel like I've gone braindead here, but I don't feel like bricking my phone.

if you are on any type of rom you need to sbf back to froyo
skip the google sign in process
root
install either dx or d2 bootstrapper
install the .596 gb and then flash apex

i think nandroids become odexed and cause problems, from another thread i read, but maybe im wrong

happened to me when going back to a nandroid from Apex RC2

You don't need to sbf. Just wipe/clear data and cache and wipe dalvik cache and battery stats.

Then apply your backup. I used to do it all the time, it works just fine.
