Remote control for my Gnex :D

Hello everyone! Sorry to bother you all again with what I hope is a simple question but... I have been using my Galaxy Nexus as my main device for listening to music. I generally use Google Music or Pandora depending on the situation. My situation is that I was looking for a remote control to well... control my music and volume of my Gnex while its plug into speakers using an AUX cable. I was wondering if anyone knew of a remote that I could potentially use to control some of the basic functions of these apps. (volume/ next track/ previous track) Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any suggestions!!

So, you basically are connecting your GN to your stereo and want to control the phone from across the room? Hmmm. I can't think of any way to do that.

My thought is that you have this backwards. You have a mobile phone....keep it mobile. Instead of hooking your GN to your stereo and trying to remotely control the GN, you need to hook something else up to your stereo and control it with the GN. Basically, you want some kind of Wifi or Bluetooth audio device that plugs in to your stereo that your GN can stream to from across the room.

I'm guessing you won't be at a computer, but if you are, then you could use this application to remotely control your phone through a web browser. You have to be rooted for that part of it to work.

this is exactly what i was thinking. even using the same exact product. something i am probably going to be buying very soon for this exact reason.
