How the hell can I completely remove Facebook?
It just doesn't give me the option.
I do not want to risk screwing the phone up by rooting or whatever you do. I don't understand that anyway,
The only way to remove it is rooting unfortunately. Its a system app so can't be removed any other way. You don't have to use it tho and it doesn't encroach that much really.
I'd like to keep Facebook and Friends Stream, but remove any Facebook contacts. I don't and will never call anyone from there, so it would be nice that they never come up when searching, nor get confused with phone book entries.
