Root Remove UnrEVOked 3 but sorta different

So i attempted to Root my phone with UnrEVOked 3 well that didnt work i have s-on and couldnt figure out how to turn it off bc when i would go through recovery i would get the icon of my phone with a green arrow then it would flash to a phone with a red alert symbol and i couldnt do anythig but take the battery out

i just want to remove the hboot? i think PWR+VOL DWN

how do i go about doing that

correct me if im wrong, but you just want to root your phone? right?

whats your hboot? (power off phone and press power and volume down to find out)

are you running android 2.2 or 2.3?

and the recovery that you entered was the stock android recovery. you really cant do anything at all with that...

how do i go about doing that

unrevoked only works with hboot 2.10 (froyo) or less. so you need to check your hboot. power off (make sure that fastboot is disabled, settings/apps/uncheck fastboot) then press and hold power+vol down. this will get you to the bootloader. at the top of the screen will be you hboot version.

also yo get the red triangle with exclamation mark becuase you still have a stock recovery. you do not have access to it. once you are rooted then you can install a custom recovery.
