Help Removing LARGE clock widget from home tab

Is there a way to remove the large flipping clock from the home tab on the Thunderbolt? My wife just got her phone yesterday and we've not found a way to do this.

Also, I am not interested in rooting the phone, so please do not instruct me to do so. If it is not possible to remove it within the phone options or through a 3rd party app, please let me know.

Thanks!

Sure. There's 12 different clock widgets that come with the phone. Press and hold the stock widget down and slide it down to the Remove garbage can in the lower right-hand corner of the screen. Then press on the pallette in the same spot, select Widget, scroll down to and select Clock HTC. Then you can scroll sideways and choose one of the 12 stock clock widgets or download lots of different free ones from the Android Market place. Personally, I have customized a smaller one called Digital Clock.

Thank you so much, I'll have to try it out and see if I can get it to work!

I'm sure you've figured this out already, maybe not, but you can remove anything that's on your screen(s) by long pressing and dragging to the trash can.

and by dragging it to the trash doesnt mean its removed for good.

to remove apps for good,
1 go to settings
applications
manage applications
2 from the app drawer press menu
remove app
