Repercussions of court ruling against F.C.C. and Net Neutrality

Now back on topic. Instead of talking about the problem, how do we find a solution then, that doesn't involve a government power grab, but keeps the playing field fair?

The playing field isn't fair now. ISPs were basically granted natural monoplies and then lobbied to be free from FCC regulation...which was a huge mistake. This isn't a power grab at all...this is a correction of a mistake that was made in the past. It really isn't that hard to understand. Free competition DOES NOT exist in this market so there is no way for it to be the answer to the problem.

The only way for free competition to enter this market would be through government regulation...which according to you is a power grab...and it would have to be much further reaching then FCC regulation.

Ok, in reality we all know that satellite Internet is in no way comparable to terrestrial access. Ever try doing anything that's latency sensitive over a satellite connection?

True enough. But it still works. There are parts of the world who donthave access to land based services. And like I said, the isps haven't done anything, so why grant the power to a government agency when we don't need it?
