Are you on the Incredible (or similar phone with touch screen buttons)? If so the only way for this to be possible is if your phone is awake 100% of the time, which destroys battery life (Some screen locks do it anyway, WidgetLocker does not). However if you are on a phone with a physical back button then Settings > Advanced > Easy wake mode is what you are looking for.

So this has absolutely no effect on battery life? I have been looking at purchasing this so I can control last.fm from the lock screen, but if its going to hurt my battery life I don't think I can live with it.

I've monitored it in system panel and it has almost 0 effect on battery ;)

yes turn it off in your handcent options :) its there

This doesn't work. Even with privacy mode on a popup still displays on top of Widgetlocker. It doesn't show the contents of the SMS but it does display who it is from. I emailed the dev and he said he would look into it.

Just checking - the option in Handcent to stop it popping up on the lock screen isn't the privacy mode, it is 'Show when locked' under Popup settings within Notification settings.

You might have already unticked it, but as you mentioned the privacy setting I thought I'd check. (not using widget locker, only stock and it works for me)

DESIRE.

But on LOCKBOT PRO i could press back button and lock-screen showed so i slide it to open.

thanks however i cant seem to figure it out. the best i got was missed call and reminders. just want the missed call.
please show me;)

When choosing to add the widget choose the "3x1 icons only" option.
From there go into your executive assistant settings and go to "configure tabs". Go through all your options and turn off everything but the dialer. You'll then be left with just the little dialer icon. Hope that helps :)

I assumed he could just turn off the pop-up completely which does work....obviously :D but if you want the pop-up feature in handcent you are correct sir! Kevin ought to be able to solve this with relative ease I would think. He takes kindly to feedback so good on you for emailing!

Yes but that wakes directly to SENSE/SCREEN not to LOCKERSCREEN like GOTO/LOCKBOT PRO?

I don't see use of program then :(

I just set the handcent icon widget to be visible on the widget locker homescreen then had handcent turn on the screen when a message was received. So i just have to take the phone out of my pocket and poke the handcent widget.

Does anyone know how to add exchange email widget on the lock screen and show unread email count? If I show the notification bar, I know there is an unread email, but I like how it looks when hiding the notification bar.

ah beautiful, thanks;)... after i did all you said i noticed the one phone tab was still taking up 3 or 4 spots. i just went back in and grabbed the 1x1 that was now there and bingo. missed calls right on my lock screen.;)

Love your setup - running almost exactly the same widgets & placement -what id TempMonitor and do you find it useful?

-kj-

Thank you, as a reference I was using the regular Temp Monitor found in the market (Dustinmj paid app), then again the CPU-Temp seemed to be around 110 degrees f. most of the time, now overclocked at 115.2 and still pretty much over there on and off, so the phone seems to be designed to handle those temps......removed the app. but yes it was useful for a while.

Just installed the update and now on an incoming call it returns back to the htc swipe down or up to decline. Anyone else notice this?

Did you change your easy wake mode? With easy wake on you should see the buttons. Without it you should see the slide. I want to see if I can make this configurable independent of easy wake in the future.
