Does anyone know where I can get a new cover for my camera lens? Mine is all scratched up and the only thing on ebay is from Korea and will take 3 weeks to get to me. TIA!

not sure if the just make a cover for the lens. never seen that before. you can get cases that are thick enough to protect the lens.

My understanding is that the "lens" on the back isn't the lens but is a plastic piece that protects/covers the lens. I need to replace THAT piece.

can you provide the link to the ebay one you mentioned that ships from korea? My lens is cracked pretty badly but it doesnt affect the pictures on bit. I might order it anyways to replace it. thanks

I have replaced mine a couple times. For $6 you get a new lense, the little padding behind it, a new red bezel, and the shaped peice of double stick tape to hold it on. I order them two or three at a time now cuz theyre so cheap and take so long to get here. A couple things tho...
1. I wish they would make an upgraded aftermarket bezel similar to the Inspire/Desire. Just a tiny little ridge around it to keep you from setting the phone down DIRECTLY on the camera face...DUH! Maybe someone on here who has access to many HTS phones could suggest another model that has a bezel that is better designed and might interchange???
2. When you change it, preclean everything.... your countertop, your hands, the phone... EVERYTHING! And have a pair of very very sharp, fine point tweezers handy to do the job. It's damn near impossible to do it with your fingers and not touch the inside of the new lense cover. Remember, you're dealing with 4 pieces total, and two of them have glue on BOTH SIDES. The INSTANT you touch it or let the tape fall where it shouldn't, even in the slightest, you're hosed. It comes sandwiched in between two pieces of plastic like a screen protector. It may end up better than the one your taking off, but it'll never ever be as clean and flawless as it was when you removed the plastic. One tiny smudge, one piece of dirt, one fingerprint, and your camera will be fuzzy still.
