Root Replacement Question

So my phone is on the verge of breaking (its sorta falling apart) and I'm probably gonna have to get it replaced. It being rooted wouldn't make it to where i couldn't get it replaced right?

No, it shouldn't. Sprint and thier policy towards rooted phones has eased up. Besides, it's not hardware/software related.
Worse case scenario, they will unroot it, but I doubt that will happen. :)

read mikey's awesome unrooting guide, http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-all-things-root/655895-complete-unrooting-guide-evo-4g.html, the beginning section tells you why sprint is letting up and how you can make sure that it will not be an issue when you take it in.

if anything you can just flash a stock rom.

or you can try selling it on ebay or craig's list and use the fact that it is rooted as a selling point. you can probably get more for it because it is rooted.

people have been paying 40 or so on ebay for cracked screen on rooted phone if you do sell there try to have the auction end between 4 and 7 est and never end on a sunday if you want the highest auction price. I buy and sell all the time on there and those are times i found get the highest price i guess because work is over kids are home ect. sunday is the worst many ebay super sellers wont sell electronics at all on sunday because its soo bad. hope that helps.

i heard there is a mod who has a classified for some evos in the classified section i think he may have one still around for like sixty bucks but im not tooo sure. check the clasifieds here
