Well it depends on what you want out of your phone. If you need video recording go with CM7.For great GPS you can get one of the MTDEV CM7's or go with U9000 which is froyo based. If you need your phone for games go with BSydz PA test build for gaming people. If you want flashy and need skype video but don't need video recording go with MTDEV CM9 20130127 build. And if you need camera and something flashy but don't need video at ALL nor games then go with MTDEV CM9 20130320 build.

BSydz gaming test build is a kernel test build not a ROM test build so you can use it with any CM9/PA ROM. I'm running it now with MTDEV CM9 2013320.

Ah so it is a kernel flash like the ones they use to have on froyo and CM7

Well I have a tablet that I use for complicated games and stuff...Well it's actually a Nook with the android4nook Sd card in , but still I dont use my phone for many games, just some simple ones like putt-putt golf and some trivia games, F/B and looking up movies on Fandango and IMDB. I like having a camera(front facing and rear) and the video capabilities. I had a CM7 in the other one I think it was TG reloaded, but you guys said there was a bettter one, towards the end when I would change batteries or restart it, I would just get that stupid android guy and the spinning "cyanogen mod" for an hour or so, sometimes it would not stop until I would remove the battery and put it back in.

The cm7 build from 2013.03.03 has been rock solid for me. Absolutely zero complaints.

Edit:
Ok well, I forgot that pesky Bluetooth peculiarity (bt audio sometimes quits after aborting an uncompleted call) that pops up occasionally, but not often. Toggle BT off and back on is a remedy.

OK so If I find the ..cm7 build from 2013.03.03 it will work? I just have to tell my tech buddy to look for that build..is that right?

The latest CM9 test build is very stable. It has a fully functional back cam...no ffc or video however. Also download BSyds latest test kernel with CM9...it allows you to play high-end games.

Latest CM9 Test Build

Did I just get that right fully working rear camera. Definitely downloaded ...... does it have the gapps in it already?
