Replacing stock browser on Optimus V

I use opera myself since it's the only browser i have found that can take numerical addresses (required for listening to my online radio station I run) and once configged correctly it will ask if i want to open the stream via winamp or the stock music player, winamp work (stock music player doesn't) then i can listen to my radio station over wifi or 3g wherever i am at.

Love opera for that fact and use dolphin for everything else.

I didn't realize that you could put so many plugins on Dolphin Browser. I got rid of all the rest except for Skyfire for watching Crackle. This browser will let me post copied links from other site to paste here when someone needs help. I still need to try and see if it will let me copy and paste text as well, just haven't seen anyone that required info that I had already posted yet. "Dolphin Browser is the best out there for doing almost everything that you can with a PC's browser. It gives you tabbed pages that you can switch back and forth from just like a PC. It also gives you, well I could go on and on about this, but it would be easier to just check out all the plugins and the browser in tbe market.

What I like best about Dolphiη browser is the customized gestures. I use gestures "J" to disable JavaScript, "d" to switch between Aηdroid and Desktop mode, and a "/" gesture to Exit. So I don't have to use my phone's keypads/buttons which in the long run will save those keypads from getting worn out.

Just got xScope. I have to say I'm very impressed. I love how you can press the settings button and it makes it full screen. Really fast! Feels just like Google Chrome.

I've tried Dolphin and Dolphin Mini and they both feel too slow on my phone. Dolphin Mini to a lesser extent, but still not as fast or responsive as Boat Mini. I really want to be able to add more functionality to browsing so I may try Dolphin one more time soon, but I'm not expecting to stick with it.

If you want function Dolphin HD is the way to go. I've been able to do more with it than any other browser. And with the gesture feature, plus all the free adons,it's almost like having my computer again(had to sell it to pay the rent), just smaller. With Dolphin HD and "Clipbot" I can copy and paste URL's and entire pages of text between multiple pages just like the PC browser(pages are indexed just like a PC browser). I've gone back and forth between as many as 4 pages with the ease of a PC. With the speed dial on the home page I can go straight to the Optimus "V" forum with one touch(Xscope has this as well). The tool bar is just a swipe away on the right, out of sight. The quick setting and bookmarks are hidden on the left side, just a swipe away.
In the tool bar you can minimize the page and select any of a ? number of pages(There is room for 6 maybe more, but it might freeze up the more pages you put on the browser), all without having to scroll up to the tabs.
