Root [REQ] Gingerbread Animation Port?

Do you guys think (since all other gingerbread related things have pretty much been ported), that the shutoff animation would be just another thing to port? I don't know if requests are looked down upon here, but I think just for the fun of it, it would be an awesome port and it looks snazzy

I agree! I will say this... I think it would be a great addition to one of the next versions of Raptor or Velocity. **HINT HINT**

We would have to find where this animation is located and how its implemented first. It may not be possible...IDK

All I know so far, is that it is possible. As there are already ports for Evo, Droid X and Nexus.

They were made based off that animation but not actually that animation. i looked and people are working on porting the actual animation but dont know where its located since its not in the frameworks. Ill keep looking tomorrow. If i find something i can work with i may try porting.

Been watching a few threads. someone made a look-a-like but no actual porting. Its not in the framework. unless being overlooked by many people

That animation is sick. I would love to see it ported to 2.1 and 2.2. Or atleast something like it.

If I made that animation I would include the files for it in the service that locks, powers off the screen and/or powers off the device. Have they looked there? It wouldn't be in the standard theme files.
