I feel so left out, im unable to anything with this phone!! :-(

I updated to 2.2 using the guide.

Did everything by the book (at least I think I did)

I successfully installed 2.2 and it booted..woo hoo!

but.... nothing works

I try and open the market and it just goes back to home screen

When I click on phone icon it says the app isn't installed

without market I can't restore any back ups etc...

I am currently trying to root back to original and if it works I will try and 2.2 it up later (if I am brave enough)

What did I do wrong?

I know lekky will ask if you cleared the cache on any attempt!?

I can't be sure so probably not

Oh well, my phone needs to go back to have the dust cleaned from under the screen anyway so will probably try again when it comes back

Yep select the wipe cache option.

I updated the guide for information for people who have an orange branded desire too

Could someone tell me if it is possible to change tracks using the volume keys in DeFroST please?
