Help Resending text messages on power-up?

Hey everyone,

Sooo, I have had a Droid X2 for just about a week and really the only problem I am having is that whenever I power my phone on, it re-sends a previously, and successfully, sent text message from a day ago. Sometimes more than one message. I have no idea why it is doing it and have searched the internet for a fix and have been unsuccessful.

Has anyone had this issue? Or know how to fix it?

Yes I did - on my Droid X. Drove me and the tech support guy at Verizon batty! The only thing that cured it was doing a factory reset on my phone. A pain in the butt, however I never had that reoccur afterwards.

i am having it too. let me know if a reset works. Was thinking of trying another txt program.

I just dialed *228 on my Verizon DROID X2, hit option 1 and in 3 minutes my problem was gone. My issue was I was receiving the same text messages 3 -4 time as well as resending tests.
