Root Reset issues

So i did a factory reset last night, first time in about 4 months. After getting everything installed and getting all the bugs worked out I'm still having trouble with one thing.

Before i reset i had a shortcut on my home screen that was a quick boot setup through ROM toolbox as a command. Well i try to do it now and the icon will not show up. All other short cuts work fine but this one won't.

I can create a short cut that brings up the entire boot menu inside of ROM toolbox but u don't want that. I want to press the icon and the phone quick boot. there's 2 Watts to do it and neither one will show up on the home screen.

Thoughts?

I think when you create the shortcut, you can check a box to automatically do the option you choose when you press it. I haven't used RT in a while, so I may be off. Give me a few minutes and I'll see
Was it RT free or pro?
EDIT: Just checked with free, when you open the command shortcut menu, press "presets" and choose your boot option

Pro. There used to be the option to preform each time upon pressing it but it changed so i made a short cut straight to fast reboot. now it won't show up.

So you want the whole menu to appear? The only way I was ever able to do that was by using anycut or bettercut
Looking at the menu that appeared when I did, it looked like it was supposed to be supported, since it had the check box to do a certain command instead of bring up the menu, but I don't know how to do it without the -cut app

EDIT: Nvm just got it. When you go to add the shortcut, don't choose the command shortcut, choose activities. Scroll down to RT, and find the rebooter option in the menu. I think all home screens should have the activities option, but I've never bothered with it so I don't know if they do. Using holo launcher.

No. I had it set to where i press and it quick boots.

I had edited my last post, I couldn't get the icon to show up either, but the above method works. Just check the box to have it do the quick boot when you press the icon and you'll be good to go

Yeah that's what I've been using but it still brings up the menu.

The free version has to the option to save your choice so when you click it automatically does what you want. Meh, I'm not having 2 rt installed.

I think it's a bug with the paid app. I found an app in the market that's real light weight and that's all it does is quick boot. No menu no nothing. Press it and quick boot. That'll work till rt gets fixed.
