Help Residing widgets

[LittleRedDot]

I like my widgets to occupy the entire screen, just like my evo. I've found 1 widget that came with the note that does that, but the rest just occupy a portion of the home screen. I dis see a tutorial that claimed that long pressing a widget will allow you to reside it, bit i can't seem to duplicate it.

So can anyone either 1; teach me how to reside widgets? Or 2; direct me to widgets of a larger size.

Also.... Are there supposes to be notification lights that flash or whatever? I see the lights, but haven't seem them lifit up after various calls/ texts, or emails.

Thanks for any and all suggestions!

I don't know about your stock launcher, but if you install a 3rd party launcher most of them allow you to resize any widget (I prefer Nova Launcher)
