Accessories retractable cord for $3

just ordered... just thoguht others might like to know it is there... since it seems like a really good price for a retractable. I'll report more after it gets here.

Yup sounds good; do report back. Its always a good idea to have a second or even third cable/charger option. I could not find the length of retraction on your product though:confused:
 
yeah, me either. so I guess I'll have to measure it when it gets here for anyone who wants to know. I do tend to use a headset in the car though, so mostly, length of cord should not be a prolem for me. I am still looking for a good CHEAP dock for in the car. I don't want to spend 15-20 dollars or more on it, though... so I will hold out and see what I see- I used to see the universal ones in the dollar stores now and then for super cheap... can't see any reason why they wouldn't work just fine...

A bumpy road or a short stop might prove that what is CHEAP now can turn into something expensive later (when your phone goes flying downward and smashes.):eek:

Just remember that "CHEAP" car dock is holding a very expensive phone !


Just something to consider. :)

I'd like to get one of those, please let us know if the micro side fits in well. I have read some other cords do not fit securely.

I'll let you know, but for me, I'm not too worried about that either, since I got some of the other regular type cords from that place in another post that I can't remember now (lol) and had to shave off a bit of the rubber to make them fit... but having done so, they fit perfect and if you didn't know they were shaved, honestly, you might just think they were made that way, since my dremel does really fine work.so if the micro end is too big of rubber on this, I'll just shave it too.
 
Please let us all know how long it is as soon as its in! I have been looking for two of them but I'm not going to pay $9-10 for one.

this came today. it is 29" long tip to tip, fully estended. looks better made than the last retraCTABLE CORD I HAD THOUGH. (FOR SOMETHING ELSE) also,fits tightly in the phone, I don't think I should have to mod it. dunno how well it works yet though.

Does it charge and sync properly? I've used some other micro usb cables, and they charge the phone but they wont sync the phone to my pc.

haven't tried to sync with it (its in my car) but it charges fine from what I have seen so far. I'll pull it from te car when I get a chance and see if it syncs ok.
