It's the same version (3.11.605.22) that all the rooted ROMs are running of late... I've been running Scott's CleanROM 4.1 and I think it's ready for prime time. Looks like it just might be the final release.

Start the "I want it NOW!" responses...

I notice it said they're removing the Verizon Location Agent. That should make a lot of people happy. Not sure I like that they're removing the power mode settings though. Maybe they're just eliminating the one option in it they mention?

Curious to see if it's actually happening today or not. If so, how is it running?

I'm rooted on the last leak so I won't be seeing it for a bit, but I am curious since I know it'll be used by Devs as a base.

Enquiring minds want to know! :D
 
After getting my phone yesterday and setting up the home screens, I realized I'd have to do it all over again once I got the ICS update haha. I think I'll try to wait out the weekend and if it isn't here, I'll just manually update the phone with the leaked file.

Phandroid and all other blog sites will be blowing up on twitter if/when ICS drops on the RZ. I would just monitor that.

Ahhhh...you just made my day. FedEx just notified me of a delay in delivery meaning instead of today I get it Monday. I was all grumbly about it, but this post made me see a silver lining. So I hope you guys get the update today and I'll pull it down on Monday!
 
I think most of those reports of a 4/6/12 OTA were mostly considered rumors, even if they did seem to be strong rumors, so I'm not going to be too upset if I don't get it today. Also, a lot of the upgrades were released in waves, meaning everyone might not get it at the same time, but when anyone gets it, I'm sure we'll hear about it.

I think the Razr and Razr Maxx were rumored to get it around the 4th and I haven't heard of that materializing yet either.

When my Thunderbolt got the GB update and other maintenance updates, we got a definite confirmation of the OTA dates on the Verizon site and I got my GB OTA just after midnight on that date. I haven't seen anything on the Verizon site yet.

I'm not overly hopeful, but I still check for an update periodically. Until I get it, I still have what I consider to be one of the best phones around at the moment.
 
Been checking for updates all morning, no such luck.

I'm soooo close to just manually updating the leak, but if it isn't the exact OTA update, do you still get the OTA? I couldn't find that info in the other thread about the leak.

Hey man, be patient! I did run the leak and it's nice! But, it will still void your warranty because it's not the stock rom everyone else has. It doesn't matter if you have ever rooted or not.

I called verizon and confirmed this trying to get into a new phone...

Just wait for the OTA. :)
