Ringtones

So I have downloaded all my ringtones from RingTone without a problem.

There was a song I couldn't find there, so I downloaded the MP3 on my computer and put it into the "download" folder on my phone to try to do it that way.

The song didn't show up and now I can't see any of my other ringtones.

I tried deleting it from the download folder and putting it in the media and the music wizard folders, and now I still can't see any of ringtones.

Help, please!

So you have created a music folder right? Because I never have a problem with them showing up there.

Have you tried using a file manager like astro to select them then? I am trying to think why they wouldn't show up for you.

If that doesn't work create a folder on your sd and name it music and put them in there so they show up.

You have to create a folder called ringtones in the media. Folder
That's correct. You need a certain folder structure for ringtones, alarms, and notification sounds to work properly:

Create the following folders in the USB storage and put the MP3 you want for each alert/ringtone in it's respective folder:

media\audio\alarms
media\audio\notifications
media\audio\ringtones

Then just open the setting for each option and you will find the new sounds listed and available to be used for that function. You can use almost any MP3 for alarm clock sounds and text/gmail notification sounds as well as ringers.
