Root [ROM][11/30/12]MiuiAndroid 2.11.23 LensFlare EDITION

yeah i just saw this. gonna download this now and flash it later. its been a really long time since i tried miui. it looks really good.
 
I've found a couple MIUIs but haven't found a daily driver yet. I can't get this one to boot. It hangs at the MIUI boot animation. I know you have to flash another earlier version first, but it won't work for me.
 
well day one and i like it. so far no issues. i need to figure out how to get some of the miui themes downloaded. not sure if i like the iphone feel i remember from the og evo days. battery life has been akay with the kernel that comes with the rom. it is definitely fast with out having to overclock it. i think i might go back to the nova launcher in a bit. i'm still tweeking it. i have not tried yet to see about headphones like some were having with the last update. if there is any issues i will post it.

Been rocking this as my daily for a few days now and here is my impression so far.

Pro - Works Great and has a decent battery life with the default kernel

con - Doesn't recognize headphones

Pro - Great Resources such as themes and stuff

con - have to join the site to get the themes and stuff

Pro - Solid Rom have had no issue's with FC's and everything seems to be working as expected

con - Don't like the way it hides notifications until you slide down the notifications bar.

Overall This would make a great daily for anyone who likes the Iphonish look and feel. I don't so after hour 3 I had to use my Launcher of choice to make it look the way I wish it to. The ROM has been solid for me no issues that I have found that are not livable. I get a decent battery from this with out having to over/under clock the cpu. All my apps work well under the ROM so no FC's which is always a wonderful thing. Not sure I care for the network provider always showing in the notification area. I recommend the ROM for all wanting to get away from the standard Sense based ROM's and for anyone who loves the MIUI goodness.
 
i concur with Frog a Claus:p on every single pro's and cons. now i remember why i stayed away from miui for so long. i too quickly moved away from the iphony like launcher and reinstalled my nova launcher. battery life was ok, not great. for me though if i was going to use a different launcher on miui, i saw no point on me staying on it. i might as well go back to cm10 which i'm about to do as we speak. LOL.

anyways this is a solid rom. if you do want something way different then check it out.
