Root [ROM][3.26.2011] Das BAMF 1.1

So far seems good. At least as good as stock. I use SetCPU to underclock when the screen is off, and Autostarts to keep what's going on in the background in check, so my battery life in general is acceptable.

So do I go to setcpu and add a profile then put max at 245 and min at 245 then userspace priority 100%?

Yes, make sure you turn the profile priority up to 100. Also, on the main screen hit menu>disable Preflock>set on boot. This will ensure that since it's a stock HTC Kernel the processor will still underclock properly

Thanks. ON my main cpu do I want on demand or userspace? How bout on the screen off

I can't find it now but I am sure I read that setcpu is not working on the TB....correct me if I am wrong. Still looking for link at XDA.

It works, just need some particular settings. Buy it in the market I'll walk you through it.

Could someone running Das BAMF! 1.2 try something out for me? Every time I run Pulse reader now that I upgraded to DB1.2 and try to add a new feed, as soon as I click the + to add, I get a force close. Uninstalled and reinstalled pulse and I face the same issue over and over. I'm curious if its isolated to just me or if its a common issue.

This is a problem with the Pulse app itself, for some reason you have to be on WiFi to add feeds with the TB. I'm guessing it has something to do with how the app is loading the feeds over 4G.

Try switching to WiFi and adding the feeds, that's what worked for me.

yeah I was on WIFI when I tried it before. It was working fine on the root version of TB but now on BAMF it FC's. Blast! ;)

Hmmm weird, sorry I'm not on BAMF I'm on Perfect Storm. I just thought it was the normal Pulse issue. Sorry.

I would say head on over to the thread at XDA and ask there. The dev is pretty responsive and you will probably find someone that can help.

We're going to get a bunch of new roms very shortly. Hang in there. I think the dev is now working on a new kernel.

I actually just spoke to Adrynalyne (BAMF's dev) and he/she said that they would look into the Pulse issue as they "hate errors". Yay for responsive developers!!

Ok so has anyone used this and Perfect Storm? Care to let me know how you would compare the two? I'm liking Perfect Storm, but you know how it is... Once you flash a ROM you can't stop... :P
