Yeh, I get this too. I also get it with the YouVersion Bible app (which my collegue is a dveloper on). I figured its a font renderer gone bad.

I can fix it going into Clockwork and doing a Fix Permissions.
 
I havent been on here in a long time! Its great to see that the LG Optimus Elite has come a long way, thank you phenomx4! I will flash on my phone right now :D
 
This rom is getting better and better. Once the EVDO "switch" (contacted playfulgod and he believes its an issue in the CMSRC.) andcamera are sorted its a RC with minor bug fixes. Good work Phenom! I have my machine set up to do actual ports of xxhdpi, xhdpi and hdpi theme engine themes for mdpi. Legitimate ports not doing dpi hacks. :D

So you mean to say that the 3g EVDO signal dropping issues is more likely software then hardware? A new kernel might fix it?

I'm no code expert but similar issues in other CM9 builds point to the RIL (Radio Interface Layer) of their respective devices for this issue.

I would loveeee this phone if only I had 3g. I literally use cdma only (2g), and when I use a 3g phone it kills me..... let alone 4g LOL.
 
Oh, just thought i'd mention on my latest port of miui using the latest (as of the time of this post) cm9 rom, i downloaded a 3rd party camera app and it opened then immediately rebooted the phone. It didnt say anything about cannot connect to camera or anything. I'll post up a log cat asap.

It's hard to say but I'd rather get rid of the performance issues first. Im trying to get the camera to work but it's VERY difficult. At least for me.

My only real concerns (performance wise.)
Not having EVDO (reporting anyway)

ICS creates a wicked amount of cache which makes the stock browser laggy.

Trebuchet is laggy and seems to redraw a lot (sorted that with apex)

Will post DDMS log cats when I get home.

I agree with the stock internet browser but trebuchet is pretty good I would say but if you would change it to another 3rd part launcher choose Apex launcher or the mainstream one Nova launcher

Yeah I like Apex, been using it since it was in beta. Trebuchet is definitely redrawing a lot and the drawer is a little slow. But its no big deal I've never used
a stock launcher since Ahome, GDE home etc back on Donut what seems like a 100 years ago lol.
