Root [Rom][5-17-12]Broken Out Connect 1.0 w/ Blitzkrieg Kernel

Is there any more development going on with this rom? I dont mean to b a nuance with this type of guestion as i understand the time and effort that goes into these roms and i am sorry for asking such a noob gues. And i dont mean to ofend any1 but thx and keep up the great work my phone is so much better with the broken out rom. U devs r the greatest

Hey man, not a problem. I apologize for not keeping you guys more in the loop. I have taken a few weeks off from Android as my schedule had been killing me. I work 50+ hours per week as a mechanic, have been short handed by 2 guys, and in the busiest time of the year (not to mention the hottest lol), after work I would have 3 hours at the softball fields with my girls 3 nights a week and 5 hours on Saturdays. Wednesday nights I teach a 5th and 6th grade Bible class with about 20 kids, and have church twice on Sundays. Needless to say its been crazy lol. Softball season just ended Saturday so after getting caught up on some other stuff I hadn't had time to do, I will be getting back to Android. Sorry for the delay guys, but family is always first!

No worries bro i know how that goes i got a wife and 2 kids of my own so i know family always comes 1st, i was just curious. Take ur time theres no reason to rush perfection. All good things come to those who wait. And u have done a fantastic job with this phone so ill wait as long as it takes. Thank u for ur time and effort u put into making our phones the awesome machines they r. On a side note where is ur shop? Cause if its in Brevard county, FL, i have some automotive skils and would b glad to lend a hand.

If you have cwm. Put your SD card in another phone and attatch thestock rom or whatever you want. Then put it back in your phone and boot into recovery then wipe data again and install the zip?? Idk

It's fine now im just gonna use stock not rooted
 
I installed the Broken Out Rom but used Go Launcher EX.

I got 10 hours and 6mn with wifi on all the time and 4% battery left, streaming radio for about 1h15, while not using the phone that much, speeds set to 1.836GHz (15.28%) -192Mhz (63.65%), smartassV2 governor and noop I/O scheduler.

The other good improvement was the phone didn't get hot as usual (zv8 before flashing to Broken Out).

I'm going to go back to normal speed (1.188GHz) to see if there is any improvement with the battery life.

This thing is damn fluid! :D

Wen I flash this rom it always sticks on lg logo and it makes me really mad ): it bootloops how do I get it to boot? I know how to restore but I can't bitt connect rom )::
 
I think this has been the easiest phone (i hope i'm not jinxing myself) I have ever rooted, put cwm and a custom ROM on. Everything easily flashed through the first time. I don't seem to be having all the problems with this ROM that so many of y'all are. I'm not trying to overclock the hell out of it either. I've had one reboot but I was getting those randomly before. I did get stuck on the recovery screen yesterday morining. I couldn't restore my nandroid backup, but, I had majorly cleaned up my sd card, cleaned out over 4,000 pics. Got rid of all the Samung files that were on it from my Admire that I don't need. I didn't make another backup after that. So that was my own fault. However, it also wouldn't let flash the ROM again. I had to use the update tool and go back to stock and start over. One thing that I don't understand, a friend and I had tried Skyvi before, she has some other android, I forget which. I didn't like and switched to Assistant. I'm still able to use "Gracie" on this ROM with no problems, she does google searchs, opens apps, tells me the weather, finds things on maps, bookmarks webpages, tells me what I have on the calendar for the day. Why would one of these work properly and not the other? I haven't tried Skyvi on this ROM, I take y'all's word for it, but do they not operate the same way?

My two major issues are the time in the center of the status bar and how it so easily gets obscured and as much I appreciate all the work that went into this, I will never understand light grey? text on black background. *watch me do something dingdongish now and brick my phone*
