Root [ROM] [ABANDONED] Unoffical MIUI V4 Mobster style v1.4

Amazing ROM and I love the themes. Question, though - How do I install the themes after downloading? I want to use the Concept ICS theme but am not sure what to do with it after downloading to my PC
 
After 3 attemps it seems this ROM just isn't meant to be for my phone :( Every time I flash it, after the reboot it just stays on the logo screen, the one that says "United Worldwide" for more than 10 minutes. Am I not waiting long enough? Other roms didn't seem to take that long on the first reboot if i'm not mistaken. So I pulled the battery again and got back in to recovery. I've just tried to flash the rom one more time and am having the same problem. I'm gonna flash back to my backup of my previous rom.

If your S-On you need to enable the Smart Flash feature
 
I just realized I wasn't doing a factory reset before flashing so I tried that and I finally got the ROM to load. But now I have no service. Can't make calls or send texts. When I go to make a call, I type in the number, press the call button, and nothing happens.

UPDATE - Everything seems to be working beautifully now! Amazing, AMAZING ROM. Thanks so much for all your hard work. Only one question - Where is the app drawer/menu?

Miui doesn't have an app drawer all the apps are on the homescreen
 
I realized that shortly after posting haha. Oopsie.

Why is it so hard to find English themes for MIUI? Are there any certain sites with a lot of english themes I can find?
 
Haven't checked this rom much and im not a developer but will try to find solutions.
So far the version over at xda has mms fixed for sprint.
I checked the apn-config it talks to the sprint mms proxys .
Tried getting it to connect to virgin but I'm a noob...
maybe Mobster can help getting it to talk to VM?
Its still sense base as far as I know so it think it should be a similar fix to meanrom ports?

I was able to receive an MMS message sent from my girlfriend's phone when she used go sms, but I was unable to send an MMS message to her using stock or gosms.
 
This ROM also fixed the issues I was having with syncing contacts to my car headset. The stock ROM and all other ROMs listed in the all things root section did not work. The phone would pair and I could make and receive calls but my contacts would not be transferred. The MIUI ROM linked in this thread works perfectly all contacts available.

One question about this ROM. Does it require S Off? Doesn't specify on the XDA forum. I have S Off but not sure it was necessary.
