Most Evo 3D Roms do require an Evo V 4G to be s-off
 
The link in the original post is dead but the one in post 161 works. This is an unmodified Evo3D MIUI ROM i beleive. It has been working great for me. If we could only get the 4G working...
 
This ROM also seems to have cured my radio interference resource shortage issues. Used to have at least one a day and haven't had a single one since running this ROM.

GoSMS will work for MMS but only if you use the Go Share feature. This feature will allow you to send and receive images. Howevey, and normal MMS sent will not come through.
 
Is that images only?
I occasionally get other multimedia messages including more people in the message and those are broken as well due to the connection/authentication problems the rom has with vm.

Thanks for the GoSMS option though. might be worth it until a fix is found
 
Alright so Digital High at xda has a general mms fix for multiple carriers
That be the MIUI from post 161
Been using it for a day
Mostly stable sense based. MMS work. no 4G yet
But so far everything else seems to be working well
p.s. No toolbox yet

Can you tell me your apn settings to get mms working?.. I'm having problems setting it up

He told me I had to add in manually. That's why he provided anycut app.. it's not working out of the box for me.
 
Yeah.. the same thing is happening to me.. apn is not saving..:(
