1. Download the Rom
2. Place Rom on Root of SD Card
3. Please perform Nandroid Backup
4. Wipe data/factory reset
5. Wipe cache partition
6. Wipe dalvik cache
7. Flash the Rom
8. Enjoy

OK im still settled on Koni III (atm) but i cant resist testing this out lol. Flashing in an hour. Damn devs why do they do this to me? I was just settling on something.
 
Yeah I know they are terrible to us lol, I have decided to stick to King's ROMs unless something awesome just comes out. I also will test things for others sometimes but come back to Kings lol.
 
I am going to try his Z build but will probably come back to his GB ROM its my new favorite and I am to use to AOSP GB to go back to Sense 2.2.
 
I liked the z build very well but I'm going to need a less brown theme lol. I'll be back when it has a different theme color scheme. I did however LOVE and subsequently stole the swype keyboard. Its black with very blue letters and no"buttons".

Koni's is by far my favorite, but I'm flashing this as we speak. It's an disease.
 
Man please tell me 4G works with this. Am I missing it somewhere. House internet was acting up just flashed this rom, went to use WiFi Tether I noticed no 4G in the notification bar nor is it in SETTINGS>WIRELESS. I blow the gate off of my unlimited data plan.
 
There is no 4g, it is a z port, that phone doesnt come with 4g therefore no 4g here. none of the z ports will have 4g.
 
I dont have 4g, i get by on 3g and wifi. Have you checked out the full 3g prl thread? I am able to get 1.2-2 Mbps down, i know its not 4g speed but its certainly liveable plus with wifi im usually OK. You know if you just have to run a z port.
 
can I have the link to his GB ROM. I run Blakk right now. I agree, King is the man and all of his ROMs have yet to disappoint me. I'd like to see how this one works, but I use the 4G a lot.
 
lol not a problem sir :) that is it, everyone seems to like it, im not much for aosp but it is my current aosp back up.
 
im curious as to what the stars are lol there are 6...im guessing douche until corrected LOL :D. I joke i joke, i kid
 
r-e-t-a-r-d is what I put lol. but douche works too haha. Especially for something stupid like i said. Ya I agree, I don't like AOSP much either, which is probably why I won't flash the GB one.

They are definitely a little smoother and snappier but i like the functionality of sense, the more functionality i find in the aosp the more i like them, point is you have to try them and play around to find these things out.

I would say try it out for a little bit, I use to not like AOSP but now I almost don't like Sense lol. I found almost everything I like from Sense in a way that I can put it in AOSP ROMs, the only thing I can't get to work is VVM.

Yes the widgets are scrollable but you can only get the widgets if you pay for the plus version of the app. I find that LP+ gives you more productivity than Sense because it has the widgets like Sense and is faster. Also you can have 5 items in the dock and up to 3 docks. lastly I haven't seen this mentioned yet but if anyone needs toggle widgets I suggest going to the market and searching for Curvefish.
 
One thing I don't like about AOSP is the fact I can't go into "Phone" and spell out someones name to call them direct, or the search feature doesn't work when in "Contact" takes me too long to call people. I did however add people in my Favorites, but that's pointless because eventually I'd be scrolling through my entire phone book anyhow....I like the sense based ROMs.

Damn it, back off topic lol...it comes with vvm installed? you tried restoring data only from a sense vvm backup from Tib? Then sending yourself a message to provision?

Did you try going to contacts then long pressing the menu key to bring up the keyboard then typing? that does the trick for me...
