Root [ROM][ACS] Koni's ELITE Series III - (ES3 - 03/24/11) - The evolution of ELITE!!!

Ok..I caved. Now that 3vo has root Koni will you be working on a Elite series for the New EVO beast. P.s I just paypal you some seed money to get it started. God bless you and yours...I am sweating thinking about ES for my 3vo. :cool:
 
thank you. found it but having issues with force closes with voice mail app and others? any ideas? could be the format all failed to install or what?

ok you need to wipe dalvik cache (found in advanced) as well as cache and data. i would wipe those like three times as clockwork mod does not really wipe very well, then re-flash the rom.

i would also recommend that you switch to amon ra2.3. it is a much better recovery then clockwork mod. so i would go here:http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-all...ooting-dummies-guide-gingerbread-edition.html and scroll down to the switching recoveries section and install amon ra.

you picked a nice froyo rom to try out. i really liked that rom when it came out. well enjoy it. you should also look into netarchy toast mods kernels. the cfs havs sbc kernels worked for me. but you might have to try a few and see which one plays better with your phone. always give your kernel a few days to settle in.

i dont like Froyos text editing system, gingerbread has a lot better one... less aggressive or move aggressive on the sbc?

i'm not sure what you mean by that. there is more havs and less havs for froyo kernels and that will depend on your phone as kernels will react differently on different phones. however my phone liked more havs.
 
I just wanted to say thank you to Konikub for such a wonderful ROM i have been running Mik ROM forever and did not think i would ever change it till i bump into this ROM and had me at the 1st pic i saw of it,love the dark theme always been looking for one like it and this one has all i want or need.

talking about bringing an old thread back from the dead!!!!LOL

just an fyi this rom is based off of froyo. so be careful if you flash a kernel for this rom as you will need to flash a froyo kernel. if you want to try gingerbread try this: [ROM]ODJDuB HD*ELITE Series IV Resurrected*UPDATE!View Finder Fixed 05/13/12 - xda-developers. it is a gingerbread rom that is based off of koni's rom. he even got approval from the man himself. check it out. i really love it as rom.
