I was in the middle of uploading the update when the web hosting company im with decided to stop working.

Right now anything alienroms.com related is down until further notice, sorry about that.

If your going to create mods please only use the files that are on this rom and not Dastins as i heavily modded them and it might cause issues with the system. I recommend pulling the files off your phone and modding those. Thanks

Also anyone that wants to create a mod go ahead just pm me once your done so i can add it to the AlienMods app thanks.

One of the most common mods asked for seems to be centered status bar clock. Is it possible you make that an option in your rom? It's not in dastin's as it is not in cm (or evervolv). roms so he does not include it.

How is this Rom for gaming and bluetooth connection (mostly controllers)? I use my phone for heavy gaming using the Moga Controller and wanted to know before taking a dive.

GPS lock is sketchy today.
Reception was pretty solid with midnight rom senseless.

This is true for me, and the GPS is terrible.

I was able to fix my data problems by flashing over to a Sense ROM, then typing ##786# in the keyboard, pressing "menu", then pressing "reset". This will do a factory reset of your service settings. Then, when it's done, flash back over to AlienDroid ROM.

Can you tell me why voicemail wont work. It seems to be a problem with all cm10.1 based roms and the the vm evo v 4g. The only rom i have seen that is 4.2.1 or above and the voicemail is working is evervolvs.

I think it might have something to do with some developers squelching the text that comes to notify of voicemails, because normal carriers do not need that. As far as i understand though, those texts are absolutely essential for virgin moblie, because that is what notifies the visual voicemail. I dont know if that is the issue or not, but i love these 4.2 based roms, but need voicemail too. I can put the voicemail app in and get it installed into the system, but it never gets connected up with sprint for some reason.

just tried your Rom. I love it! my only problem is that the GPS won't even show up in my notification bar while using back country navigator or everytrail. it is definitely turned on just not responding for either app. can anyone confirm this, or tell me a work around..? I totally want to keep this as my daily Rom , but I have to have my GPS navigation so I can track all the caves I find.

Hey guys, im sorry for really procrastinating the ROM's next update. I have been really busy this week, due to a big celebration in my town. Also its almost impossible for me to work during the week days as i get almost no free time. Just thought i would let you know that im not ditching this rom and im working on trying to bring a update soon.

Another thing is that the current version of AlienMods is broken as it causes system bootloops when flashing a mod or theme. I need to update the whole rom in order to fix this issue, so the next update is going to be a full rom update.
