Root [ROM][Alpha][4.0.4]Codename Android 2.0.0

Not sure if this counts as a bug that can be fixed but my wifi wont auto connect when I turn it on in this ROM.I have to go in and do it manually everytime. occasionally Bluetooth acts the same way.

for me it sometimes does that. i believe its like this on cm9 as well although im not too sure.
 
Hey jarjar, I'm having problems installing this with the navigation bar apks u posted. I get stuck at the boot ani. If u still have the zip u used may u plz post it. Thanks.

This is what you do..
Download codename rom.. Extract it with root explorer or similar app.. Replace both apps that was uploaded by jarjar into codename and zip it back up and flash. make sure to flash gapps after

That's it :D
 
Had to flash back to miui GB as I drove all the way through Charlotte without GPS ever finding me. Locked as soon a new ROM started.

I've actually been away since 1:00pm until 11:00pm today because of a derby party. Pretty exhausted. If I stay up late enough tonight I'll be able to get it fully functional tonight. But almost 100% tomorrow.

Exactly what I did the first time and the 2nd time. Ill see if the 3rd is the charm. Thanks tho.
 
GPS only connects when stopped for a long time and loses lock after moving Again...I have tried using cm9 and miui 4.0 GPS. Config fixes and so far it's a no go...any ideas?
 
Hey gannon... found a bug for you. When you press 1 for your voicemail, it actually dials Virgin Mobile's customer service. I've even tried *86 and it did the same thing. I had to go back to an older rom just to hear a voicemail.

Dial your 10 digit phone number, or add yourself as a contact. Upon calling yourself it should work? ( I havent flashed yet to test)
 
Another bug, when I go to change Processor voltage in settings it gives me the following message, "Error getting values"
 
Hey guys, I am currently running Mantera's CM9 right now. I thought about switching over to Android 2.0, but was curious if I could just flash this one over my current CM9 without having to do a factory reset. I might make a backup and try it just to see if it works. I'm mainly too lazy to backup everything and restore it all. I guess I shouldn't be :P

Yeah seeing that Codename is mainly based off of AOSP and CM is their own, I would suggest highly for wiping data and both caches.
