Root [ROM][Alpha][4.0.4]Codename Android 2.0.0

Nice rom...might just be me...my only problem is I can't get Wi-Fi hotspot to come on....does say turning on, but it doesn't. And will YouTube play in regular mode or just HQ mode..other than that it's smooth.
 
Maybe its just me but I've ran into it before so any help is welcome I use airplane mode all day to save battery loaded this rom up last night and to today I lost a lot of battery. I'm not overclocking or undervolting and I was on the preset scheulers and govoners. So here are some screen shots
Its tuff to put up screen shots at android forums I wanted to add the battery page one but it wouldn't go even after I cropped the hell out of it. But it was a gradual decline respectively

Edit: the only thing I'd did that to me would be questionable is use backed up user app and data from cm9 not system stuff via tb. Which I had not had this problem with cm9

sorry for double posting >.< my battery is running fine. did u calibrate ur battery? I did notice battery life on this is alil shorter then cm9 :P mines been up for about 8 hours been using for like 1-2 hours on wifi n 3g :P rest on airplane mode n its at 71%. it does however go down faster wen idle then cm9 wen idle. i guess thats wat u have to pay with all these nice tweaks. btw, try running v6supercharger :P it helps improve performance.
 
I did not calibrate my battery I've read that if you wipe factory reset it wipes your battery stats and it was at nearly full charge when I flashed so I could give it a while to settle in but I was thinking from what CPU spy was telling me that it wasn't hitting deep sleep the 1% was from the morning and on break time.

but even though if it does wipe battery stats, u flashed the rom. u should still calibrate battery for better battery performance regardless after u flashed any rom. i suggest u calibrate. also diable bt n.or wifi if not using. this is wat prevents deep sleep mode.

Try disabling auto sync for your Gmail and see if your phone goes into deep sleep. That's what was causing my phone to stay awake.
 
Just wanted to let you know my phone reboots after watching YouTube videos for around 25-30 minutes. This happens on all the cm9 roms I've tried.

I'll give it a shot tomorrow
And actually my first sync was at lunch cause I notice I didn't have any contacts so not sure if that was it.
Am I the only rommer that runs airplane mod all day.

Quite possibly.
reception sucks at my work freaking factories.

I'm going to run regular *****row and post a screen shot of CPU spy
 
Is there a known fix for the Facebook contact thing? I remember jumping through hoops to get it to work in cm9 but I seem to have forgotten how to fix it.
 
Thanks Gannon, this ROM rocks, it blows CM9 out of the water! My only complaint is that the option to turn on "On CRT TV animation" isn't there. Is there any way to enable it? The off animation works just fine.

If I go to settings> Interface> Rotations & Animations under CRT Animations it wont let me select "Screen-on animation" I think it needs to be enables on the ROM.
 
I really like this ROM but cannot seem to get the navigation bar to work. It'll show up on the bottom of the power menu but not on the bottom of the screen. I know the phone works fine without it, but I like it for the ICS look. Is anybody having the same issue? Does anybody know how to make it appear?
