Woah that's awesome ...in no time we should have a fully working Gingerbread ROM
 
Hey guys after pulling an all nighter ive updated this Rom to Alpha :D all the Sensors work now as do HDMI and Wifi thanks to my Hybrid Kernel ;)

the only things left to fix are SMS/MMS and 3G data please Devs this is soooo close to being complete we could definetly use the help in getting these 2 things working.....

This rom is nice, I checked it out last night. I noticed the apns-conf.xml was all t-mobile, so I swapped out the file from a stock rom. But when I rebooted, the phone process kept force closing even after changing it back. I did this all on the phone last night so I'll look into this today.

So, is this a port from the Thunderbolt? I am trying to port the EVO Design as it is already Sprint and the SOC is almost identical.

No this is a port of the GSM Gingerbread update that came out for the FB0 phones like the Ideos x6. This does have the Thunder.prop mod since some games wouldn't work (because there is no such thing as a 2.3 Triumph ;)) and let me know if you run into any trouble with that port.....
 
This will be great when you work out 3g and sms/mms. Been using it for a few minutes, wifi at home. OOOOh, I like the timeout animation, heh.

Mobster, Ziggy, anyone that helped them, gghf. Will have to make a backup and switch back to 1.0.8.1 - which btw was much better on battery life than 1.0.5.

Edit: Uh-oh. Shutdown the phone to install the Titanium Backup 'update.zip' I made, booted and android.phone FC every second. Can't toggle Airplane Mode. Going to reflash the rom. Would that be TB's fault or something in the phone or rom?

Titanium Backup update.zip? What is that?....

Either way I've had no problems with Titanium Backup I restored my apps and games through the app itself and everything worked out fine even after a reboot....

Also since data doesn't work right now I wouldn't suggest turning off mobile data or turn on Airplane mode it might cause problems like phone.apk force closing........

Well I turned off mobile data the first time. This time I just rebooted the phone after maps/search/superuser & market updated and I'm getting the FC for phone again.

I'm downloading right now with the intent to use this as my main HDMI backup. Tried going back to stock a couple of times but just couldn't deal with stock ROM for more than 5 mins, even for HDMI.

I'm sure you talented peeps will have it figured out long before I can contribute anything useful, but I've been doing tons of reading trying to learn as much as I can so maybe I can help out. If not on this ROM, maybe something in the future.
