Root [Rom]AOKP For Motion[Port]

First thing i notice is no camera app only gallery... Had trouble signing in to Google account and cant download from the play store. Wifi works no data on this phone so cant test that. Won't charge while off either.. I'll get back to you as I go through the system settings.

I can download from play store. Make sure you cleared cache and dalvik and flashed the latest gapps.
Also are you sure you haven't over looked the camera app? Reboot? Because mines is there.

Also when you say "won't charge while off" do you mean off as in powered off? Because it does that with all of ours cm roms.
 
Yeah i did all that but I'll reflash it again it was acting glitchy when I was in recovery I need to update the recovery on that phone anyway. I didn't see the camera app though and it tried to download from the playstore but wouldn't. I knew the charge thing but didn't know if you had attempted to fix it..

When i tested 10 hrs ago, camera app was there, just "can't connect to camera." Fixed that with a different camera app from the playstore. I had a couple reboots when stressing it out with multitasking then it calmed down and was very fluid.

Gps worked for me in maps/navigation, but i had an other app where it couldn't get the damn satellites, i will try a different gps.conf configuration to see if it fixes that.

I didnt have a chance to test sms or mms, but calls work, volume o-k, web surfing is fast, ROM tools feature worked flawlessly, and benchmarks were up by 1k on antutu.

Anyway i loved it. Ive never had an AOKP on any of my devices so im in love now. Only complaint is that the options hard key didnt do anything on home screen and im used to get the settings from there, but i learned how to get it differently.

Best thing on that phone was a busted up cm7...

Anyway adding to my first post, i tried new version and only one reboot. Camera took a couple tries, but works now. 1080p is purple - to be expected, front facing camera works but not video so no video chat. SMS/MMS work. Usb MTP doesnt work but PTP does...lol. ADB works.

Stock gps.conf fixed my earlier issues with other apps.
GPS is awesome with this setup, gps lock with 10+ satellites in 3 seconds.
 
This ROM is cool but very different. I do really like it though. But how do I get back into recovery with this ROM so I can restore my stock backup?
 
I get sad because the music app doesn't work for me :(. Hope johnny makes a baseless one of these :D because it's so awesome
 
Wow GPS still isn't working for me even with the fix and after flashing a new rom but besides that this is pretty great. Is there a way to add the mobile data toggle to this rom? That is one of the only essential things that it's missing for me.

Also I still have the backlight issue :/
 
Guys try this. Come from F firmware(with unbrick method) and flash the freedom kernel along with this rom and set the governer to interactive.

I'm having absolutely no problems besides the music app and front facing camera and 1080p recording.. (Don't get your hopes up but we may actually have a fix for that soon ;) ) I'll replace music app with pg's apollo or cm10.1 apollo.
