Instructions
  1. Download AOKP 4.4.4, Philz Touch Recovery, AOKP GAPPS,Place AOKP 4.4.4, GAPPS,on your external sd card.
  2. Flash Philz Touch Recovery via ODIN. Turn off your phone, and put your phone in download mode by pressing volume down button, home button and the power button simultaneously and letting go. Press volume up when prompted.
  3. Plug in your phone via usb, and open up ODIN and load the recovery in PDA and flash away. Do not tick or untick anything.rom After it flashed, reboot to recovery (by pressing volume up, home, and power simultaneously).
  4. Make a full backup in case things go Bad.
  5. Do a factory reset or selec clean to install new rom.
  6. Install AOKP 4.4.4,AOKP GAPPS, via recovery.
  7. Reboot to system, and enjoy AOKP 4.4.4!;):rolleyes:

What are the features of this rom? Don't know anything about aokp. Is it similar to cyanogen or what?

Might consider flashing this.

AOKP is basically the same thing as cyanogenmod, this has way, way more customization pre-baked into the ROM. So its easier to customize and more fun.

Roms like these don't need to be debloated since they dont have any of the metropcs stuff or whatever. It just comes with the basic apps pretty much and then a few google apps.

What you say it I didn't add the APN in this ROM I have to make another build if is what you talk about
 
I will try a update of this ROM this weekend but I still can't find a fix for clock sync

I really like this ROM every thing is working fine calling/SMS/camera/alarms/mobile data/etc. The only problem is when I turn on my WiFi it gives me random reboots and it just keeps doing it obviously they stop when I turn off my WiFi but still this ROM would be working perfect if you just fixed that WiFi /random reboot problem but overall nice job this ROM looks like its guna be a good one just keep working on it please! Thanks!!

What recovery you use
 
Twrp 2.7 , do I have to use philz touch ? I don't like philz because it causes me to have bootloops into recovery sometimes so if I ever use a differernt recovery it would be cwm advanced edition 6.0.4.8

Use my I never have problem with WiFi and I am a heavy user of WiFi now I in AOKP since and week and no problem
 
Can I change your philz to recovery.img instead of tar.md5? Cuz i use a faster way to flash a recovery but it has to be .img or would it hurt my phone if I changed it to .img and flashed it ?

If you search here in the forum you will find my in img is the one the say philz touch just search is a zip file the you can flash with recovery
